Recent Boston Celtics Player Signs With Team In Germany

Purdue Boilermakers player Carsen Edwards had an incredible three-year career.  

The team made the Elite 8 in 2019 under Edwards' leadership after making the NCAA Tournament in all three seasons.  

He was selected with the 33rd pick in the 2019 NBA Draft following his junior season.

During his three seasons in the NBA, the talented point guard played for the Boston Celtics and Detroit Pistons, but this past year he played for Fenerbahçe Beko, 

where he averaged 10.0 points, 1.6 rebounds, and 1.5 assists per game while shooting 41.1% from the field and 34.3% from three-point range.  

The 25-year-old officially signed with FC Bayern Basketball on Friday (h/t Alberto De Roa of HoopsHype).

He averaged 3.6 points and 1.1 rebounds per game in 68 regular season games for the Celtics in his first two seasons.
